“Bullying Prevention Efforts Through Information Services for Grade 10 Students at MAN 1 Serang”

The information service conducted by KKN-PPL Team 24 of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten aimed to reduce and prevent bullying behavior among students of MAN 1 Serang, particularly those in Grade X. This activity was initiated due to the discovery of several bullying cases among tenth-grade students, which called for preventive and educational measures through informational services.

Through this program, students were expected to increase their awareness of the impacts, forms, and appropriate steps to take when they become victims or witnesses of bullying within the school environment.

The event was attended by approximately 318 participants, consisting of Grade X students, the principal, guidance and counseling teachers of MAN 1 Serang, and featured Mr. Ahmad Subhan, S.IP., M.A., a social counselor and lecturer at UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, as the speaker.

The results of the information service showed that students were able to identify various forms of bullying and demonstrated improved awareness of bullying behaviors. Furthermore, the activity received positive responses and enthusiastic participation from the students.

This information service also emphasized the importance of teachers’ active involvement in identifying and addressing behaviors categorized as bullying, accompanied by appropriate actions to handle and prevent the recurrence of bullying among students in the school environment.
